Burd is an eruption of twisted fuzz guitar riffs, wacky tempo shifts and mind trips. All while maintaining digestible pop sensibilities. A psychedelic mixture of punk, pop, and grunge, Burd has a versatile sound that delivers a heavy blow. Over the past several years Burd has established a local cult following in the Bay Area based purely off hype from maniacal live performances. They have become an integral part of the San Francisco DIY scene by both performing and organizing dozens of underground shows. Hundreds of SF youth come pile into a garage, warehouse, or what have you to mosh to Burd's uniquely strange and heavy sounds. They have managed to catch even greater attention through word of mouth, and with no released music online whatsoever, have already shared bills with some big names and even went on tour with Skating Polly! Thus far the only way to listen to Burd has been by attending one of their killer live shows, however they are now gearing up to finally release their awaited music to the world.
